2nd North America International Education Forum in Celebration of the15th Anniversary of the CEA

 

CEA China Education Association (Canada) is a B.C. registered non-sectarian, non- political and non-profit international organization, formed by a group of professionals dedicated to educational and cultural exchanges between Canada and China. Many of our members are university, primary and secondary school teachers as well as engineers, international school founders and successful entrepreneurs in education. Our members are from China, United States, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong SAR, Singapore
and other countries and regions. With 420 founding member, the CEA is an influential educational Association in Canada and China.
Our mission is to promote and facilitate educational exchange and cooperation between Canada and China. In past 15 years, we have:

 

Our mission is to promote and facilitate educational exchange and cooperation between Canada and China. In past 15 years, we have:

1. Helped over 357 immigrant Chinese teachers obtaining teaching positions in Canada (including child care teachers).

2. Provided career and technical training to 283 Chinese immigrants and helped them find professional jobs in computer programming, accounting, teaching (English, ECE and Chinese), nursing, etc.

3. Helped many unemployed local teachers find jobs as ESL teachers and Finance & Accounting tutors.

4. Promoted multicultural and educational exchange and cooperation between Canadian Chinese educational institutions. This includes assisting in partnerships among institutions, organizing winter/summer camps and visits, as well as introducing international students to study in BC.

5. Organized visits by school principals and teachers to enhance communication and understanding of the educational systems in Canada and China and to expand co-operation in education training.

6. Established long term strategic alliances with Canadian and Chinese educational organizations, primary and secondary schools as well as universities/colleges.

2015 North America International Education Exchange Forum was initiated by Canadian non-governmental educational organization, with support from provincial and municipal government. The participants of the event include highly important education sectors. It is expected that the influence of the event will be far-reaching in promoting and providing high levels of service.
